South Madison Health & Family Center - Harambee is a multi-agency collaboration providing culturally sensitive, coordinated health and education services. As one of Madison's largest and best-known community centers, Harambee promotes and supports the health and well being of Dane County families. Located in south Madison, a primary focus of the center is to enlist active community participation in addressing identified health care, family support and education needs in our community.

Six of Madison's leading non-profit agencies are primary partners at South Madison Health and Family Center and are at the heart of the Harambee collaborative concept. Dozens of other non-profit agencies, volunteer organizations and citizen groups also use the center and participate in cooperative efforts. Harambee is a nationally recognized organization that remains on the cutting edge of collaborative service delivery. SMHFC - Harambee has more than a decade of experience fostering partnerships in south Madison.
